Creasebird privacy policy
Last updated October 18, 2026. This policy covers the Android app Creasebird: Easy Origami (com.tinyfair.creasebird) published by Tinyfair on Google Play.
The short version
The app works on your phone. We do not have accounts or servers, we do not track how you use the app, and we never receive your folding progress, favourites, age answer or personal details. The only data that leaves your phone goes to Google: for ads, for purchases, and a crash report if the app crashes, as described below.
Data that stays on your phone
- Progress and favourites
- The step you reached, the models you folded and your favourites are saved only on your phone. There is no account.
- Age group
- The first screen asks for the year of birth. Only the age group (under 13, or 13 and over) is saved, on your phone. It decides the ad settings and whether a grown-up is asked before a purchase. The year itself is never stored or sent.
- Purchases
- Handled by Google Play; we never see your payment details.
Ads (Google AdMob)
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, never on the step screen. All ads in the app are limited to content rated for general audiences (rating G), for every user.
Users under 13 (based on the year of birth entered on this phone): every ad request is marked as directed to a child and to a user under the age of consent. Google then shows only non-personalised ads, and does not use the advertising ID or past activity to personalise them. Videos for rewards are not offered and there are no ads that open with the app.
Users 13 and older: in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and other places where the law requires it, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent tool before ads can be personalised, and you can change it later in Settings. Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address and information about ad interactions to show and measure ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.
See how Google uses information from apps that use its services. Buying Pro removes all ads.
Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
For users 13 and older, if the app crashes or hits a serious error, it sends a crash report to Firebase Crashlytics, a Google service that helps us find and fix the bug. A report contains the error and where it happened in the code, the app version, the device model, the Android version, basic device state (for example free memory and screen orientation) and random installation IDs created by Firebase that are not linked to you, your Google account or your advertising ID. It never contains your progress, favourites, photos, your year of birth or anything that identifies you. Reports are kept for 90 days. See Firebase privacy and security.
For users under 13, and before the age question is answered, crash reporting is switched off: crash information stays on the phone, is never sent, and is deleted for users under 13.
Purchases (Google Play)
Pro is sold through Google Play Billing as a one-time lifetime purchase, a yearly subscription (with a free trial for new subscribers) or a monthly subscription. You can cancel a subscription anytime in Google Play. For users under 13 a grown-up has to pass a check before the purchase screen opens. We do not see your payment details; Google Play tells the app only whether Pro is active.
Permissions
No camera, location, contacts, microphone or storage permission. Volume buttons are read only while hands-free mode is on, and only to move between steps. Internet is used for ads, purchases and, for users 13 and older, crash reports.
Children
Creasebird is made for all ages, including children. We follow the Google Play Families policy and the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
- A neutral question asks for the year of birth when the app is first opened. The answer stays on the phone.
- We do not collect names, email addresses, photos, precise location, contacts or any other personal information from children, and there is no account, chat or sharing with other users.
- For users under 13: only non-personalised ads rated G, requests marked as child-directed, no videos for rewards, no crash reports, no share button, and a grown-up check before any purchase.
- Parents or guardians who have a question, or think information about their child was collected, can write to support@tinyfair.my.id. We will answer and delete anything we hold.
Your choices and deleting data
Everything the app stores is on your phone: delete it inside the app or uninstall the app to remove it. For ad data, use your Android advertising ID settings or the Privacy choices option in the app.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. Questions: support@tinyfair.my.id.
