Stampkite privacy policy

Last updated November 3, 2026. This policy covers the Android app Stampkite: GPS Camera (com.tinyfair.stampkite) published by Tinyfair on Google Play.

The short version

The app works on your phone. We do not have accounts or servers, and your photos, your location and your folders are never uploaded to Tinyfair. Location is used only while the app is open, never in the background. Data leaves your phone only to look up the address of a photo (the Android Geocoder), to download map tiles (OpenFreeMap), for ads, purchases and crash reports (Google), and for a small settings file the app downloads from our website, as described below.

Data that stays on your phone

Location
Your GPS position is read only while the app is open, to stamp your photos. It is written onto the photo and into its EXIF data on your phone. Stampkite has no background location permission and never sends your location to Tinyfair.
Address
To turn the position into a street address, the app uses the Android Geocoder, the location service built into your phone (provided by Google on most phones). Android sends the coordinates to that service to look up the address, so it needs internet. Offline, the stamp shows the coordinates only.
Map
The small map comes from OpenFreeMap (openfreemap.org), with map data from OpenStreetMap contributors. The phone downloads the map tiles around your location. The map server receives these tile requests, which show the rough area, and your IP address like any web request, but no photo, account or identifier from the app.
Photos
Taken with the camera only while the camera screen is open, and saved to your gallery in Pictures/Stampkite, with the GPS position and time in the EXIF data. If you turn it on, the original photo without the stamp is saved too. Photos are never uploaded to Tinyfair or passed to the ad SDK. Where you share them next is up to you.
Project folders
Folder names and photo numbers are saved on your phone.
PDF reports
Made on your phone from the photos you pick. Nothing is uploaded.
Company logo
Chosen with the Android photo picker, so the app cannot see the rest of your gallery, and kept in the app's private storage on your phone.
Settings
Your stamp template, corner, units and other settings are saved on your phone.
Purchases
Handled by Google Play; we never see your payment details.

Settings file from tinyfair.my.id

When it starts, the app downloads a small settings file from https://tinyfair.my.id/config/stampkite.json (the minimum app version and how often ads may appear). The request sends no personal data, no photo, no location and no identifier. Like any web request, our web host sees your IP address in its standard server logs; we do not use it to identify you or link it to anything else.

Ads (Google AdMob)

The free version shows a small banner on the project folder screens. There are never ads on the camera screen. A full-screen ad may appear when you go back to the camera from a photo or a folder. It never appears in your first session in the app, at most once every 90 seconds and at most 8 times a day. From your third session, an ad may appear when you open the app, at most once every 4 hours, but not when you return to the app from the background. You can also choose to watch a short video to make one PDF report. Ad content is limited to no higher than the PG rating, and dating, social casino and similar ads are blocked. To show and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, an approximate location from your IP address, information about ad interactions, and diagnostics. Your photos and your GPS location are never passed to the ad SDK. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the app asks for your consent first, and you can change it later in Settings. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services. Pro removes all ads.

Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)

If the app crashes or hits a serious error, it sends a crash report to Firebase Crashlytics, a Google service that helps us find and fix the bug. A report contains the error and where it happened in the code, the app version, the device model, the Android version, and a random installation ID that is not linked to you, your Google account or your advertising ID. It never contains your photos, your location, addresses, folder names or anything that identifies you. Reports are kept for 90 days. See Firebase privacy and security.

Purchases (Google Play)

Pro is sold through Google Play Billing as a yearly subscription (with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers), a monthly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in Google Play. We do not see your payment details; Google Play tells the app only whether Pro is active.

Permissions

Camera, to take photos while the camera screen is open. Location (precise and approximate), only while the app is in use, to stamp the position and address; no background location. Notifications, only for one reminder 2 days before a Pro free trial ends. No contacts, microphone, storage or photos and media permission; the company logo is chosen with the Android photo picker. Internet is used for the address lookup, map tiles, ads, purchases, crash reports and the settings file described above, never to upload your photos. Google's ad and purchase libraries add the advertising ID, network state and billing permissions.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices and deleting data

Everything Stampkite stores is on your phone. To delete your folders, logo and settings at once, uninstall the app or clear its storage in Android settings (Apps, Stampkite, Storage). Photos you saved stay in your gallery, in Pictures/Stampkite, until you delete them. For ad data, use your Android advertising ID settings or the privacy choices in the app's Settings. If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. Questions: support@tinyfair.my.id.
