Printwren privacy policy
Last updated October 18, 2026. This policy covers the Android app Printwren: Print PDF & Photos (com.tinyfair.printwren) published by Tinyfair on Google Play.
The short version
The app works on your phone. We do not have accounts or servers, we do not track how you use the app, and we never receive your documents, photos or personal details. The only data that leaves your phone goes to Google: for ads, for purchases, and a crash report if the app crashes, as described below.
Data that stays on your phone
- Files you print
- Photos, PDFs, scans and documents are read on your phone and handed to Android's print service. They are never sent to us.
- History
- A copy of each printed PDF (up to 200) is kept in the app's own storage on your phone so you can print it again. Delete it in the app or by uninstalling.
- Web pages
- When you print a link, your phone loads that page directly from its website, as a browser would. We do not see the link.
- Camera scans
- Pages you scan with the camera are processed on your phone and saved only in the app's own storage until you print or share them. Camera images are never sent to us or anywhere else.
- Printers added by IP
- The printer addresses you add are saved on your phone. Pages you print to them go straight from your phone to that printer on your network.
Ads (Google AdMob)
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, and information about ad interactions and app crashes. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the app asks for your consent first, and you can change it later under Settings, Privacy choices. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services. Buying Pro removes all ads.
Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
If the app crashes or hits a serious error, it sends a crash report to Firebase Crashlytics, a Google service that helps us find and fix the bug. A report contains the error and where it happened in the code, the app version, the device model, the Android version, and a random installation ID that is not linked to you, your Google account or your advertising ID. It never contains your documents, photos, scans or print history. Reports are kept for 90 days. See Firebase privacy and security.
Purchases (Google Play)
Pro is a subscription (yearly with a 7-day free trial, or monthly) or a one-time lifetime purchase, all handled by Google Play Billing. We do not see your payment details; Google Play tells the app only whether Pro is active.
Permissions
Camera, only to scan pages inside the app; it is asked for the first time you scan and you can refuse it and choose a photo instead. Notifications (to remind you before a free trial ends). Photos and files are chosen with the system pickers, so no storage, location or contacts permission is needed. Internet is used for ads, purchases, web pages you choose to print, and printers you add by IP address on your own network.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices and deleting data
Everything the app stores is on your phone: delete it inside the app or uninstall the app to remove it. For ad data, use your Android advertising ID settings or the Privacy choices option in the app.
