What you can do

  • Log a shot in two taps. Medicine, dose, time and the next site are filled in.

  • Weight and an estimated level. A weight line marked with your dose changes, and an estimated level curve from the published half-life of your medicine.

  • Side effects in seconds. Tap nausea, constipation or what you feel, choose mild, moderate or severe, and add a note.

  • A report for your doctor. A one or two page PDF with doses, sites, weight, side effects and notes, shared or saved from your phone.

How it works
  1. Add your medicine. Pick the generic name, then type the dose and day from your prescription.
  2. Log each shot or pill. Two taps; the next site in your rotation is ready.
  3. Bring your numbers. Share a PDF report at your next appointment.
Is Tidepen a medical device?

No. Tidepen is a log. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition, and it never suggests or changes a dose. Questions about doses or side effects go to your healthcare professional.

Is Tidepen free?

Yes. Logging shots, pills, sites, weight, side effects, protein and water is free with no limit, with charts for the last 30 or 90 days and one small banner ad on the History screen. Pro adds the PDF report, all-time charts, more than one medicine, pen and vial supply, dose step reminders and no ads.

Where is my data?

Only on your phone, in the app's private storage. There is no account and nothing is uploaded. You can lock the app with your fingerprint or PIN and back up to a file you choose.

Which medicines work?

Weekly pens such as semaglutide, tirzepatide and dulaglutide, daily liraglutide, semaglutide tablets, and any other or compounded medicine you name yourself.

Privacy at a glance
Your health log
Medicine, doses, injection sites, weight, height, side effects, protein, water and notes are stored only in the app's private storage on your phone. They are not uploaded, not shared, and not included in Android cloud backup or device transfer. There is no account.
Backups and reports
A backup file or PDF report is created only when you ask, and saved or shared only where you choose.
Ads
The free version shows one banner on the History screen. Ad requests are non-personalized and never include your health data. Ads may use your device's advertising ID, as described in Google's policies.
Purchases
Handled by Google Play; we never see your payment details.

Permissions: Notifications, only for the shot, pill, weigh-in and water reminders you turn on and to remind you before a free trial ends. Exact alarms, if you allow them, so reminders ring on time. Fingerprint or screen lock, only if you turn on App lock. No camera, microphone, location, contacts or storage permission: files are saved and opened with the Android file picker. Internet is used for ads, purchases and crash reports.
