From bedtime to morning

Is Nightecho free?

Yes. Recording, detection and listening to every clip are free with no limit. Pro adds the long view and removes ads.

Is Pro a subscription?

You choose: yearly with a 7-day free trial, monthly, or one lifetime payment. Cancel any subscription in Google Play at any time.

Is my audio uploaded?

No. Sounds are analysed on your phone and recordings are saved only on it. You decide what to share.

Can it diagnose sleep apnea?

No. Nightecho is not a medical device and does not diagnose any condition. Talk to a doctor about your health.

Why did recording stop?

Some phones close apps at night to save battery. Nightecho tells you when it happened and how to allow it to keep running.

Privacy at a glance

Recordings: Saved only on your phone. They are never uploaded or sent to us.
Microphone: Used only while a night is being recorded. Sounds are analysed on the device.
Exports (Pro): Written to a file you choose on your phone. We never receive them.

Permissions: Microphone (only while recording), notifications (to show that recording is on and to remind you before a trial ends), and running in the foreground during the night. No storage, location or contacts permission.
